2026 Tuber Sales

About Us…

The Inland Empire Dahlia Society, (IEDS), was organized on November 14, 1961.​​​ Their first Dahlia Show was held at the Spokane County Fair, in 1962.  We are still part of the fair.  The Fair is now called, the Spokane Interstate Fair & Expo Center. 

The IEDS has 7 general meetings, all are welcome to join us.  There are three tuber sales and one show, annually.  We sponsor the Spokane VA Medical Center Garden. This is where, in the fall we get most of our tubers, for our tuber sales.  Meetings are located in the Manito Park Meeting room the second Thursday of most months, specific location is: 2016 S Tekoa St, Spokane, WA 99203.

We often plan different functions during our meetings for the off months. This is when we don’t have the official members meetings.  We also, have a picnic in August and a Christmas Party in December.  In January, the board and other members meet to plan the budget for that current year. There are committees that have meetings, outside of our regular member meetings, also. Included in membership, is our monthly newsletter, called, “The Dahliafax”.  We are associated with the Federation of Northwest Dahlia Growers.  We are affiliated with the American Dahlia Society, (ADS).​

Membership Dues: Single $10.00, Family $15.00 – a family member is a spouse and child residing at the same address.
